'I wrote this about a close friend going through a very challenging time. He went through several difficult things right in a row. He was a musician and he lost his band, and then his wife left him for another man. He had to deal with lots of bad stuff, so this song serves as an encouragement to him and to the others who have gone through similar situations.' - Sarah Brendel
