"Life is hard. I find it difficult to identify with people that constantly "have it all together," because I feel like I never do. This past year has been unbelievably good, stressful, painful, joyous, depressing, and a myriad of other emotions. My faith has been tested and shaken more than any other time in my life. Through it all I can honestly say that I have never believed in God more. It is one thing to say you believe in God, His promises, and His sufficiency when everything in the world seems to be going your way - It is a completely different thing to say it with tears in your eyes as you battle depression and hardship with no end in sight. Believe is a song boldly saying that no circumstance will ever shake my faith in Jesus and His goodness. No matter how dark things seem, or how bad things get, I want to cling to Him through it all. I want to be near to Him through it all. When I sin, I want to run back to Him and repent. When my world seems to be crumbling into ruins around me, I want to hold fast to Jesus.
