So many churches are telling people that Jesus came to show us how to love each other, or to teach us how to love ourselves, or that God loves us just the way we are and that we don't need to change a bit, or...well, pretty much anything. That's the travesty of sin being committed in many mainline churches today - We can all fabricate a gospel of our own choosing, as long as it feels right. The fact is, the Bible is clear about man's falling into sin and needing the righteousness of Christ to atone for us.
