"How many times have I said to myself, "this is the absolute worst time of my life," only to a few weeks later say the exact same thing to myself about a completely unrelated and new issue? If each instance really was the worst time of my life, I have had approximately 100 "worst times" come and go. The reality of every heartbreak, big or small, is that they are all infinitely tiny in comparison with eternity. This Could Be is a jab at myself to realize that in light of a sovereign, eternal God, each bit of drama in my life "could be" and in fact, is over.
