Song Description: ""Get By" is probably the most emotional song on the record, which is fitting because it is also the final track. It was written after the sister of someone close to the band committed suicide. This person was left broken and feeling guilty, like she could have done something to prevent the death from ever happening. The lyrics to the song are meant to be a comfort, to tell her that she is not to blame. Unfortunately, death is a part of life that everyone must eventually face. While there is definitely a period of mourning that has to occur, with time and the Grace of God, we can all find the strength to move on, to get by. While this might seem like quite a downer to end the album with, the song actually ends on a positive note, telling anyone who listens that even though they have suffered loss, they are not alone." - High Flight Society
