Hello, I'm Johnny Cash (That's right)
Hi, I am Willie Nelson What do you want do, first - stew up
Sung:
An old cowpoke went ridin' out one dark and windy day
Upon a ridge, he rested, as he went along his way
When all at once, a mighty herd of red eyed cows, he saw
Ploughin' through a cloudy sky, right up a cloudy draw
Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel
Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath, he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him, as they thundered through the skies
He saw the riders coming hard and he heard their mournful cry
Yippee - ay - hey, yippee - ay - ho, ghost riders in the sky
-Solo-
As the riders passed on by him, he heard one call his name
If you want to save your soul from hell, a-ridin' on our range
Then cowboy, change your ways today or with us you will ride
Tryin' to catch the devil's herd across these endless skies
Yippee - ay - hey, yippee - ay - ho, ghost riders in the sky (pick it, Willie)
-Solo-
Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred, their shirts all soaked with sweat
He's ridin' hard to catch that herd, but he ain't caught 'em yet
'Cause they've got to ride for ever on that range up in the sky
On horses, snortin' fire, as they ride on, hear their cry
Yippee - ay - hey, yippee - ay - ho, ghost riders in the sky Ghost riders in the sky
-Solo-

See you - hey, that's one we got... , - that's one, yeah - we do that on a... ah, we've done that on a highwayman - show, when we were workin' with Waylon and Willie and Kris and myself and... - spent a while since we did a highwayman - tour, you know, when we were about to do that thing - for they found all the four of us - well, 'twas a very good find anyway for them - I love workin' with those crimina... , I mean those guys over there - ha - ha - ha, - we enjoy it - you wrote a song that I did on reggae-album last time - yes - yeah and you and I had a house over in Jamaica, don't you? - Hm - hm and you know there was a lot of these folks over there - yeah - so I did this song, called "Worried Man", and did it on a reggae-album and it really sounds good with, those guys playin' it - yeah, I haven't heard it yet I may insist here, let me tell you how I wrote... how come to write it. Ah... , you were there and you probably went through a little town called Falmouth in the North... north shore. Ah... between a month ago way north of Jurias and I... I was walking along the streets of Falmouth, one day and this... this bum came up and he said... , ah, you recognize me so Mr. Cash, I'm an override man. I'm a very worried man. I thought, man, here's a new a-protean I never had this one before... ha - ha - ha
I said, ok, what are worried about. He said... he said, I got a wife and nine pickaninnies and no job and that makes me a worried man. So after I left him on the way back to... to our home, I wrote this.
