What can I say That you've never heard What can I offer you Where can I go That you've never been That you won't lead me through Take my words, hear my cry Only you can satisfy
CHORUS Fall down on me Drop me to my knees Pour over me Deeper than the sea Rain on me With love until I drown I need you to fall down
If I had one place Just one place to be I'd be at your feet If I had one prayer I know what I'd pray I'd ask you to fall down on me Take my prayer, hear my cry Only you can satisfy
CHORUS
Take my prayer, hear my cry Only you can satisfy
Fall down on me Drop me to my knees Pour over me Deeper than the sea Rain on me With love until I drown I need you to fall down on me Drop me to my knees Pour over me Deeper than the sea Rain on me With love until I drown I need you to fall down
Story Behind The Song: Joel 2:28 ...I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Acts 2:3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
1 John 3:24 ...And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
I tend to think that faith = knowledge.
The more I know, the stronger my faith should be...right? I've learned that this equation isn't always true. There's a supernatural element to Scripture that is beyond what my mind can grasp and bigger than my words can explain.
I've never seen the Holy Spirit, but I know He exists. I can't show you a picture, but I can show you a changed life. This song is nothing more than a prayer, admitting my humanity and asking God to shower me with His perfect gift to all who believe - His Spirit
