Wonderlight Wonderlight Triple daystar burning bright A wonderlight Wonderlight To shine from Heaven and split the night A wonderlight

From the ages you Made your way into The empty canyon of my heart And now the darkness fails And all that glitters pales Within the glory of your wonderlight

Story Behind The Song: Numbers 24:17 A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel
Isaiah 9:2 The people walking in the darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
2 Peter 1:19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Revelation 21:23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
You never know how a song will turn out when you first start to work on it in the studio...this one exceeded my expectations. I felt like this song, lyrically, was epic. It basically tells the story of Christ in less than four minutes - taking the listener through the Old Testament, the New Testament, the present day and showing His relevance and prominence in each.
Musically, God allowed us to take my simple guitar/vocal demo and create a track that still blows me away every time I listen to it. This one is special.
