Track: World Undone

World Undone Lyrics

I can't deny you - although I have tried
You will have your glory and you will not be denied
For when you reveal yourself, who can contain your praise?
I'll sing like a river in full flood

CHORUS
Your Kingdom come to a world undone
Your Kingdom come, Lord let your will be done

Now that I've met you how can I keep still?
For if I don't speak your name, creation will
You took the old from me and gave me a new song
A hymn of praise to you my God

CHORUS

Rivers, mountains, sea, and sky lift up your voice to God Most High
And you will hear this world
And all who live in it
Shouting with one voice - all will rejoice

CHORUS

Song Description:
"Originally, "World Undone" was called "Most High," a very fast rock song that we completely re-invented for this record. A bit of ye olde "rocks cry out," I have to confess, although from an odd angle. This song went through a torturous re-incarnation in the studio (including two complete lyric re-writes, something I've never done before), but ultimately turned into an unforgettable "aha!" moment when we realized what we'd achieved." - John Ellis (Tree 63)
