Hold On To Jesus Lyrics
I've found love I've found peace in my life I've found joy That no one can describe When I lay down to sleep There's a voice inside keeps telling me Something that I ought to do You've got to hold on to Jesus When your heart is crying, your world is dying You've got to hold on to Jesus When your life has had enough I've had pain And like everyone else I've been tempted To only live for myself When I lay down to sleep There's a voice inside keeps telling me Something that I ought to do You've got to hold on to Jesus When your heart is crying, your world is dying You've got to hold on to Jesus When your life has had enough And as time goes by, the tick of the clock is not Enough for me And as time goes by, I'll give Jesus my allegiance Chorus Refrain: You and me and we've got to hold on You and me and we've got to hold on You and me and we've got to hold on Hold on to Jesus
Song Description: Hold On To Jesus is a piano/vocal and was written when I was 17. The language I think is simplistic (I was probably trying to use a big word like allegiance!) How often have I run through those words in my head when I didn't know what was around the corner (I still don't!) Why do I try when I am not the author of what happens?!
