Still Believe Lyrics
(Aaron Blanton, Michael Merritt)
One minute I was walkin' on water with You The next thing I was falling So far far from You I'm sorry for falling asleep in the garden I'm sorry for acting like I didn't know You
What a wonder Such a wonder
That You still love me That You still rain down Your mercy That You still believe in me
I never understood it how You saw through me Into what I could be, You hardly knew me But now I wanna follow with all my passion Sometimes I trip and fall with my own actions
It's a wonder -I know it's a wonder
Song Description: This song was based on the story of Peter- and how in all circumstances he should have been written off. He messed things up all the time. He fell asleep, lost faith, denied Christ. We are all like Peter- we always mess up. The message of "Still Believe" is that no matter what we do, God still believes in us, and in the impact we can have for Him in this life.
