About the song: A song about the benefits of patience and not compromising your beliefs for a quick payoff. I am a firm believer in looking at the long term benefit of decisions. The Bible says that Christ, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. He didn't have to suffer and die, but His eyes were on the joy set before Him and the hope He could bring to all of us by enduring. I think that is amazing and I try to remind myself of these things when I feel impatient.
