"I wrote this song following a conversation with my dad about my parents divorce 20 years ago. It is written from his perspective and talks about his ongoing healing amidst lots of regret surrounding the break up. It meant a lot for me to hear these words. I though it might have the same impact on other kids from broken homes as well."
