NOTES: A great, unsung hero lived in my community. He volunteered at the fire department, took time to get to know people, and was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. When he passed away unexpectedly, our whole town mourned and I found myself asking the question, "Who could possibly take his place?" The answer has to be "me". In a world that is skeptical toward Christians and is honestly asking the question, "Why?" when faced with the choice of Christianity, I think it's relevance lies in the simplicity of Jesus' words...Love God and love each other.
